The Volunteer Program at the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley (ASCMV) offers a meaningful opportunity to support our dedicated shelter staff and help provide high-quality care and enrichment to the animals in our facility.
We offer a variety of volunteer roles to suit different interests and skill sets, from hands-on animal handling and caretaking to administrative support and public outreach.

Become a Volunteer at ASCMV
1. Complete a Volunteer Interest Form in one of the following ways:
- Complete the Volunteer Interest Form online.
- Ask for and fill out a Volunteer Interest Form in person at the Front Office at 3543 Bataan Memorial West.
- Print the Volunteer Interest Form, fill it out, and drop it off in person at the Front Office at 3543 Bataan Memorial West.
2. Your Interest Form will be reviewed by our Volunteer Coordinator who will contact you to schedule a Volunteer Orientation Tour.
3. The Volunteer Coordinator will cover next steps with you at the Volunteer Orientation Tour.
