NBCUniversal Local’s Clear The Shelters™ is an annual, nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign held each August.
Since 2015, the initiative has helped nearly 1.2 million pets find homes, and raised over $5 million for participating sites like us!

All month long, adoptions at ASCMV are completely FREE! Visit us anytime during August at the shelter to meet your match, or stop by one of our special events:

Join us for a festive day with dozens of adoptable pets ready to go home! - Saturday Pop-Up Events
- ASCMV x Your Pet Space – August 9 from 9:00AM – 12:00 PM
- Shelter Sweethearts at Petco – August 16 from 9:00AM – 12:00 PM
- PetSmart Super Saturdays – August 23 from 9:00AM – 12:00 PM
