Volunteer with ASCMV
The Volunteer Program at the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley (ASCMV) offers a meaningful opportunity to support our dedicated shelter staff and help provide high-quality care and enrichment to the animals in our facility.
We offer a variety of volunteer roles to suit different interests and skill sets, from hands-on animal handling and caretaking to administrative support and public outreach.
Please note that a Parent or Legal Guardian will need to become a volunteer and accompany anyone under 18 years old. Those that are at least 10 years old can accompany their Parent or Legal Guardian at the shelter, but they cannot handle animals directly. Those that are at least 16 years old can handle animals with their Parent or Legal Guardian
